Tina Salvesen, resides now in her native Florida, after living in the Northeast and Europe for many years. Her work focuses on fine mark making with the use of charcoal, pencil, ink, watercolor, pastels, paint and encaustic to create her artwork.
She attended Skidmore College, and received a Bachelor's degree in Art. Regarded as a master draftsman, she has won many awards in various shows throughout the USA. She has exhibited widely, including shows in the Newark Museum, the New Jersey State Museum, State Museum of Pennsylvania, Belgium and Spain. Her latest exhibitions include I am Woman, Hear me Roar!, in Miami 2016; Red Dot art fair, Art Basel, Miami 2016, Wide Open 7 in Brooklyn 2016 and Bossa Gallery in Wynwood Miami 2016.
